NOTICE: Regarding Coronavirus – Updated May 20, 2020

To our DGIQ Community,

Though we are still many weeks from the scheduled start date, it has become clear that the postponement of this conference is necessary for the safety and reassurance of all participants.

Therefore, we have officially rescheduled the 2020 DGIQ Conference to the following dates and location:

Dates: December 7-11, 2020
Conference Venue: JW Marriott
Location: Washington, D.C.

This opportunity allows more space for attendees, sessions, and exhibits, and we will return to the Catamaran Resort in 2021. We are currently working with our 2020 DGIQ Speakers and Sponsors to reschedule their involvement and build an updated program that will cover many of the same excellent Data Governance sessions you were hoping to attend. Plus, we’re including some additional sessions drawn from our recently closed DG Vision Call for Presentations.

As a registered attendee, speaker, or sponsor, you should have received an email regarding these updates. Please check the email account used during your registration to obtain additional information about this announcement. If you need registration assistance, please email registration@dataversity.net.

Have additional questions about our event changes? Please contact our event team at events@dataversity.net for additional assistance.

We appreciate your understanding and support as we navigate through these exceptional circumstances.

Thank you,

The DATAVERSITY Team

FAQ

Q. If I registered for the June DGIQ Conference in San Diego, does my registration automatically move to this event?

A. Yes! Your registration will remain active in our system, and if you can attend in December you don't need to take any further action. But, if you’d like to move the full amount of your original DGIQ San Diego registration package to a future DATAVERSITY event, you can email registration@dataversity.net and our staff will happily assist you.

Q. What provisions do you have in place to ensure the safety of the attendees who are able to attend?

A. We are working closely with the hotel staff to ensure we can provide a safe and comfortable space for all who attend and meet recommended CDC guidelines. As things evolve, we will provide more specific details to registered attendees. If you have additional questions, please reach out to us directly at events@dataversity.net.

Q. If I register and need to cancel, will I get a refund?

A. We follow standard guidelines listed in our cancellation policy, which can be found here. However, if you asked us to apply a previous event credit to your registration, there are some limitations. Please contact us at events@dataversity.net if you have additional questions.

Q. What happened to the DG Vision program?

A. Due to this merger, the core DG Vision program will be included in the new DGIQ agenda. For those who were planning to attend DG Vision, this will feature the same exceptional Data Governance-themed presentations you would expect to see at DG Vision.

Q. Will the December DGIQ event be different than the June event?

A. Yes and No. The structure of the program and the number of tracks should remain the same; however, we may include additional financial service and public sector-themed sessions, since we're going to be hosting the event in Washington, D.C.

Q. When will the Agenda be announced for the DGIQ December program?

A. To view the 2020 DGIQ D.C. program, click here

Q. Who will sponsor the conference?

A. We are working with all sponsors on this. We expect many of our sponsors to remain involved with DGIQ Washington, D.C., and will continue to share them with you here.
